Pressure matters: Crimson Desert now boots on Intel Arc, full optimization still pending

Pearl Abyss has changed its position on Intel Arc support in Crimson Desert. After the game launched with an FAQ entry telling Arc users the title was not supported and pointing buyers to refund policies, the studio has now updated that message and says it is working on compatibility and optimization support for Intel Arc GPU systems.
The new wording stops short of calling Arc support complete. Pearl Abyss says players should wait for a future support update that will bring a smooth and stable gameplay experience. At the same time, an updated support message now says the game can be accessed on Intel Arc systems, but warns that performance drops and stability issues may still occur while optimization continues.

Crimson Desert on Arc (Current)
Early user reports suggest that this is a partial fix rather than a full resolution. Players on Reddit say Crimson Desert now boots on some Arc systems, including Arc B580 hardware, but several reports also describe broken rendering, white or blue screens, and general instability once the game gets past the previous hardware block.

Crimson Desert on Arc (Previous Messaging)
The change comes only days after Intel publicly said it had offered Pearl Abyss hardware, drivers, and engineering help across several graphics generations, including Alchemist, Battlemage, Meteor Lake, and Lunar Lake. That statement made the launch-day block more difficult to explain, especially since Pearl Abyss had not said support was being worked on at the time. In other words, they had years of support offered, and they are only doing optimizations post launch, you can’t make this up.
If you happen to own an Arc GPU and wanted to buy this game, please let us know how it works for you. Personally, I do not think enthusiasts who care about the healthy and competitive GPU industry should support such a title, though.
