Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan to speak at Computex 2026, Nova Lake incoming?

Intel has confirmed that CEO Lip-Bu Tan will deliver a keynote at Computex 2026 on June 2 in Taipei. This is not the opening keynote, though. That slot was already assigned to Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon, whose presentation is scheduled for June 1.
The organizers, TAITRA, say Tan will discuss Intel’s vision for the next era of computing in the age of artificial intelligence, with a focus on silicon, systems, software, ecosystem partnerships, and opportunities for businesses and developers. There is no mention of gaming, desktops, laptops, or any consumer product launch in the announcement itself.

Intel already launched Core Ultra Series 3, previously known as Panther Lake, at CES in January, and its recent public roadmap has put Nova Lake as the product meant to address gaps in the high-end desktop segment. Based on that, Intel does not have much officially outlined for consumers between now and Computex, which leaves open the possibility of an early Nova Lake showcase, even if only as a preview. Intel has not said that will happen, so for now that remains speculation.
With AMD expected to mention Zen 6 at Computex, Intel may see the show as a chance to take some spotlight too, while both companies remain months away from release.
