NVIDIA Profile Inspector Version 3 pre-release adds dark mode and new UI options

Recently, we reported that one of the most popular GPU tools (Display Driver Uninstaller) had finally received a dark mode, a change many users had been waiting for. Now, another widely used GPU tool has followed the same path, gaining dark mode support over the last two days.
NVIDIA Profile Inspector has started rolling out Version 3 builds through GitHub pre-releases. The new branch began with v3.0.1.3 on March 23 and has already advanced to v3.0.1.7 on March 25. These builds are not stable releases yet, they are all marked as pre-release. Do not use them if you don’t have to.

The biggest visible change is the new interface work. Early Version 3 builds added dark mode first, then light theme support, followed by an appearance menu for switching between light and dark themes as well as modern or compact density. Later builds also introduced Windows visual effects including Mica, Mica variant, Acrylic on Windows 11, and Glass on Windows 10.
The latest v3.0.1.7 build focuses more on usability. It adds collapsible group headers, new icons for profiles and modified profiles, and restores the Bitvalue editor. That release also fixes drag-and-drop, NIP file import, and profile lookup through EXE, LNK, and Steam links.
