T-CREATE CLASSIC H514 SSD with graphene and aluminum cooling options

TeamGroup has announced the T-CREATE CLASSIC H514, a new M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 SSD aimed at creator systems and workstations. The drive will be available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities. TEAMGROUP rates the 2TB and 4TB models at up to 14,200 MB/s read and 13,300 MB/s write, while the 1TB version is listed at up to 14,000 MB/s read and 11,000 MB/s write.
The company says the H514 uses a 6 nm controller and focuses on lower latency under heavy workloads. TeamGroup lists read latency as low as 0.05 ms and write latency as low as 0.015 ms. It also claims lower latency than its older CLASSIC I45 PCIe 4.0 SSD, with reductions of about 19% for reads and 27% for writes.

TeamGroup is offering the H514 with two cooling options. Buyers can choose an ultra-thin graphene heat spreader or a larger aluminum heatsink. The graphene model measures 3.7 mm thick and weighs 7 g, while the aluminum version is 11.7 mm thick and weighs 28 g, which gives users a choice between better compatibility and a larger thermal solution.

The full spec sheet also confirms DRAM cache across the lineup and endurance ratings of 600 TBW for 1TB, 1200 TBW for 2TB, and 2400 TBW for 4TB. TEAMGROUP lists a 5-year limited warranty, 3D NAND flash, and support for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The company also says the drive is intended for local AI workloads, including storage for large language models from 7B to 175B parameters.
At the moment, TeamGroup has published the product page and press materials, but it has not attached retail pricing to the H514 lineup yet.
