Philips unveils Evnia 32M2N8900X, 31.5-inch 4K 240Hz QD-OLED monitor with Ambiglow

Philips adds 32M2N8900X to Evnia lineup with 4K 240Hz QD-OLED panel

Philips has quietly listed a new Evnia gaming monitor in China, the 32M2N8900X . It is a 31.5-inch QD-OLED display with 3840 x 2160 resolution and up to 240 Hz refresh rate over both HDMI and DisplayPort. The official specification sheet also confirms DisplayHDR True Black 500, ClearMR 13000, Adaptive-Sync support and a 0.03 ms response time.

The panel is rated for 300 nits in SDR at 100% APL, 515 nits in HDR at 10% APL, and 1000 nits peak in HDR at 3% APL. Philips also lists 10-bit color, 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, full sRGB coverage, 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage and Delta E below 2 in sRGB mode. Pixel density is rated at 139.87 PPI, and the monitor uses an RGB Q-Stripe subpixel layout with a 3H anti-glare coating.

On the feature side, Philips equips the monitor with three-sided Ambiglow, a built-in KVM switch, PiP/PbP support, Smart Crosshair, ShadowBoost and two 5W speakers with DTS Sound. The company also says the panel uses an integrated graphene layer for heat dissipation, which is intended to help maintain panel longevity.

Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1 connector (but it doesn’t say what bandwidth) , one USB-C video input, headphone out, one USB-B upstream port, two USB-A downstream ports and one additional USB-C downstream port with 15W power delivery. The main USB-C connection supports up to 65W USB PD 3.0, which should be enough for laptops and handhelds that do not need higher charging power.

For now, the Chinese product page does not show a confirmed retail price or launch date, so there is still no indication of when this model might reach other regions.
