NVIDIA begins pushing DLSS 4.5 files ahead of Dynamic Multi Frame Generation beta release

NVIDIA is set to release DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and the new 6X Multi Frame Generation mode later today through an opt-in NVIDIA app beta for GeForce RTX 50 series owners.

Ahead of that rollout, users on Reddit have started reporting that NVIDIA is already pushing new Streamline and DLSS files through its OTA update path. Streamline 2.11 and DLSSG 310.6.0 are already being delivered when DLSS Override is enabled, which suggests NVIDIA may have started staging the software before the app-side toggle is broadly exposed. Keep in mind that these features are not easily accessible without the NVIDIA App update, although there is still a way to enable them manually.
NVIDIA says Dynamic Multi Frame Generation adjusts the frame generation multiplier in real time instead of sticking to a fixed level, while the new 6X mode can generate up to five AI-created frames for every traditionally rendered frame. NVIDIA also says moving from 4X to 6X can raise 4K frame rates in path-traced games by up to 35% on GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs.
