NASA’s Artemis II mission around the Moon is tomorrow, April 1, and Apple Vision Pro users will be glad to hear it’s being captured in immersive video for a future release.

NASA is about to launch its highly anticipated Artemis II test flight, with a targeted launch time of 6:24 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, April 1.

The 10-day mission around the Moon and back will blast off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Film company Cosmic Perspective has that it’s on the ground now, ready to film the launch with a Blackmagic URSA immersive camera for Apple Vision Pro.

The video above shows the Blackmagic camera all set up for the launch. And in a follow-up post, Cosmic Perspective that it’s capturing Apple Immersive Video for the Vision Pro.

Cosmic Perspective is focused on “sharing the awe and wonder of space through films and immersive experiences.” It has many other launches in 3D, 180-degree stereoscopic film and immersive spatial audio.
