One WD_BLACK SN7100 $185 order turns into $1850 score

While it is just a claim from a Redditor, we have seen plenty of such cases in the past, so the likelihood of something like this happening is very high.
A Redditor “Bat-Dragon-666” says an order for a single WD_BLACK SN7100 NVMe SSD arrived with 10 drives in the box instead. The post includes a photo showing 10 identical SSDs lined up inside the package. At roughly $185 per drive, the total value of the shipment would be about $1,850 . That is far above the cost of a single order and explains why the post quickly spread across hardware communities.
The WD_BLACK SN7100 is a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, so this was not a low-cost mix-up. Shipping mistakes involving PC hardware do happen from time to time, but cases involving this many identical drives are still unusual.
As with similar stories, the only confirmed part is the Reddit post and the attached image. There is no indication yet of how the shipping error happened, or whether the retailer asked for the extra SSDs back.
