NVIDIA N1 engineering board leak shows 128 GB LPDDR5X memory with SK hynix chips
NVIDIA entry into the laptop market seemingly confirmed.

An engineering motherboard said to carry NVIDIA’s upcoming N1 laptop SoC has surfaced through a Goofish. The photos show a compact board with a large NVIDIA package at the center and eight memory packages placed around it.
In January, Jensen Huang publicly acknowledged that NVIDIA was working with MediaTek on a low-power, high-performance SoC for AI computers. A later report linked N1-based systems to future Dell and Lenovo laptops expected in 2026 .
The packages are marked SK hynix H58G78CK8B, with eight chips adding up to 128 GB, and running at LPDDR5X-8533. SK hynix’s public LPDDR5X materials list support for speeds up to 8533 Mbps in discrete packages. SK hynix does not appear to have a public product sheet for this exact suffix.

The photographed board also appears to include two M.2 2240 slots, onboard Wi-Fi, HDMI, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

NVIDIA is now expected to announce the N1 laptops around Computex in a few weeks . As mentioned, Dell and Lenovo are seemingly confirmed to be working on such laptops, including “Legion” branded gaming systems.
The N1 SoC appears to be similar, if not identical, to the GB10 Blackwell Superchip, which powers NVIDIA DGX Spark systems and its partner Mini AI workstations. Should it have the same specs, one would get a 20-core chip equipped with up to 6144 CUDA cores. NVIDIA is apparently planning two variants, the N1 and more powerful variant called N1X.
While the offer is no longer active, it was listed at 9999 RMB (around $1400). Keep in mind those prices are often just a starting point for direct seller-buyer negotiations.
