ONEXStation targets local AI, but ONEXPLAYER still talks about gaming
ONEXPLAYER has added a new desktop system called ONEXStation to its store, and this one is being sold more as a local AI machine than a gaming product.
The system is based on AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 , a Strix Halo APU with 16 Zen 5 cores, 32 threads, boost clocks up to 5.1 GHz, and Radeon 8060S graphics. ONEXPLAYER pairs that chip with 128GB LPDDR5X-8000 unified memory and says the system is built for local AI workloads, including support for models up to 100B parameters. The listing also advertises “96GB VRAM,” dual PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD support, 2.5GbE, an SD 4.0 slot, and 13 total ports. I guess the most prominently missing spec is 10GbE networking.

ONEXPLAYER claims a 3DMark Time Spy graphics score of 11,130 for the Radeon 8060S and says Black Myth: Wukong can run at 1080p max settings at 80+ FPS. The product page also highlights OneXConsole Gaming Hub , so the company is still trying to keep one foot in its usual market even though the core message here is local AI and workstation use.
The official store currently lists one configuration, Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with 128GB memory and 1TB storage, at $2,999, down from a stated $3,599 (which is what we refer to as a fake launch price) with a keyboard and mouse bundle.

The company already offers APEX handhelds , which has seen production paused briefly. Currently prices went up by hundreds, retailing at $2300 for 48GB RAM version (395) or $3000 with 96GB. Anyway, I’m not sure why they are releasing this 14 months after the MAX+ 395 launch and if there’s any market left for this system.
