Ryzen 7 9800X3D hits $419
AMD’s desktop CPU pricing has been relatively stable over the past few weeks, with only minor movement across AMD and Intel parts. That is starting to change again as fresh discounts appear after the launch of Intel’s Arrow Lake Refresh rollout.
Amazon is now listing AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D at $409.95 , setting a new lowest recorded price for the processor. AMD launched this 8-core Zen 5 X3D chip at $479, so the new deal cuts roughly $70 off the original MSRP.
The new price makes the Ryzen 7 9800X3D even easier to justify against AMD’s newer Ryzen 7 9850X3D, which is currently sitting at $489. At $409.95, the 9800X3D now undercuts that chip by about $80, while both processors remain close in gaming-focused positioning.
At just over $400, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D now stands out even more in AMD’s 8-core X3D lineup. The previous all-time low was $419.95 in late March, so this latest cut pushes the chip another $10 lower than the prior record.
