Amazon Luna disables EA, Ubisoft and GOG libraries for cloud streaming

Amazon Luna removes third-party game purchases and subscriptions, support ends June 10

Amazon has updated its cloud gaming service Amazon Luna, removing support for third-party game stores and subscriptions. The change took effect on April 10, according to a notice sent to users.

The service no longer supports purchases or subscriptions from external platforms including Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and GOG. This also ends the “Bring Your Own Library” feature, which previously allowed users to stream games they owned on those platforms.

Users who already linked accounts or purchased games through these integrations can continue to access them until June 10. After that date, those titles will no longer be playable through Luna, but will remain accessible through their original storefronts.

Amazon has also stopped selling subscriptions to Ubisoft+ and Jackbox Games through Luna. Active subscriptions will be cancelled at the next billing cycle, requiring users to subscribe directly through the respective services if they want to continue access.

The company states that Luna will now focus on its own subscription tiers, Luna Standard and Luna Premium. Amazon is offering select users a free Luna Premium membership after June 10, though eligibility details will be provided directly to affected accounts.
