Honor WIN gaming laptop teased with 250W+ power, Ultra 200HX, RTX 50 and 6-fan design

Honor WIN gaming laptop reportedly launches April 23, leak points to up to RTX 5070 Ti and unusual multi-fan cooling

Honor is preparing to launch its WIN gaming laptop series in China on April 23, according to recent teasers and a new Weibo leak. Honor has already confirmed the launch date and has been promoting the system’s cooling design as a key feature ahead of the announcement.

The latest leak covers several CPU and GPU configurations. The Win laptop would apparently stick to Intel HX series, meaning it is after the enthusiast gaming laptop segment.

These include Core i7-14650HX with GeForce RTX 5060, Core Ultra 7 251HX with RTX 5060, and Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus variants paired with RTX 5060, RTX 5070, or RTX 5070 Ti. Most listed models pair 16 GB of memory with either 512 GB or 1 TB of storage.

Honor Win rumored configurations:

  • Core i7-14650HX + RTX 5060 + 16GB + 512GB
  • Core 7-14650HX + RTX 5060 + 16GB + 1TB
  • Core i7-14650HX + RTX 5070 + 16GB + 1TB
  • Core Ultra 7 251HX + RTX 5060 + 16GB + 1TB
  • Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus + RTX 5060 + 16GB
  • Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus + RTX 5070 + 16GB
  • Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus + RTX 5070 Ti + 16GB RAM + 1TB HDD

Honor’s own pre-launch messaging claims more than 250W of total system power and a 360 W GaN power adapter. The new leak goes a step further and mentions a dual-fan plus quad-mini-fan setup, which suggests a six-fan design in total. I’m not sure if that’s fully correct, but would this make it the world’s first 6-fan gaming laptop?

How many fans are enough? Gaming laptops with more than the usual two fans already exist. Alienware x15 and x17 models use four internal fans, ASUS has shipped several ROG laptops with a third auxiliary fan, and GIGABYTE has also marketed quad-fan AORUS designs. There is also at least one older example beyond four fans, as Acer’s Predator 21 X was reported to feature five internal fans . That means a six-fan Honor laptop would be unusual, but not the first gaming laptop known to go past four or even five fans, if the leak is accurate.
