NEW DELHI -- India's coffee industry faces the threat of losing major export destinations in the Middle East due to the Iran war and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, as the world's seventh-largest coffee producer -- which ships about 70% of its output overseas -- has expanded sales to buyers in markets including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Jordan and Saudi Arabia in the past decade.
