MAXSUN shows W890-80L workstation motherboard with Xeon 600 & Arc Pro B70 support

MS-WorkStation W890-80L developed for Arc Pro workstations

MAXSUN has unveiled a new workstation motherboard called the MS-WorkStation W890-80L . The board was shown during the 2026 Intel China ODM & OEM Customer Summit , held from April 8 to 10. The product supports Intel Xeon 600 series processors and targets multi-GPU workstation and server builds.

The W890-80L features four PCIe Gen5 x16 slots . MAXSUN also exposes another 16 PCIe lanes through two PCIe Gen5 MCIO 8i connectors . The board is also said to include multiple M.2 slots , although full storage configuration details have not been published yet.

The layout suggests MAXSUN is aiming this board at professional systems that need high PCIe lane density. Four full-length Gen5 slots would make it suitable for accelerator cards, storage expansion, or multi-GPU workstation setups. The added MCIO connectivity also points to server and enterprise-oriented expansion options rather than a standard desktop platform.

MAXSUN reportedly used the same event to show systems based on the new Intel Arc Pro B70 32GB graphics card. These included dual-card micro workstations and quad-card workstation or server configurations . That matches the board’s expansion-heavy design and gives some context for how MAXSUN plans to position the W890-80L.
