Lenovo official store pushes Legion Go 2 2TB far above retailer pricing

Lenovo’s official US store is now listing the Legion Go 2 2TB with Ryzen Z2 Extreme, at $2849.99. That is a sharp jump from the $1479.99 level previously tracked for the same SKU, which puts the current Lenovo asking price at roughly 93% above its earlier US launch-period retail level. Worth adding that this is the 2TB model.
Other retailers are still well below Lenovo’s direct price. B&H currently lists the same 2TB model at $1849.99 , while Abt has it at $1799.99. Costco still has a live product page for the 2TB version. The increase is not limited to the 2TB model. Best Buy currently lists the 1TB Ryzen Z2 Extreme version at $1999.99.
© Lenovo As a reminder, Lenovo’s announced that Z2 Extreme version will cost $1349.99, which means the 1TB configuration is now about 48% above that earlier figure as well.

Lenovo has not explained the sharp price increase, but at this point it is fair to assume the product may be heading toward discontinuation, because the new pricing makes little sense. For now, this appears to be limited to Lenovo’s official store. Based on current retailer checks, Lenovo’s own listing is now the clear outlier. The 2TB model is priced about $1000 above B&H and $1050 above Abt.
