Intel cuts off older Arc and legacy iGPU driver downloads

Intel has removed a batch of older graphics drivers from its Download Center, affecting both Intel Arc GPUs and integrated graphics on 7th to 10th Gen Core processors. Intel says the cleanup started this month.
According to Intel, the company removed historical Arc graphics drivers older than version 32.0.101.6987 . It also removed 7th to 10th Gen processor graphics drivers older than version 31.0.101.2141. Intel says the move is meant to help users get current support and to manage its driver portfolio more efficiently.

Intel wants users on the latest validated packages instead of digging through a long archive. The company now points users to its Driver & Support Assistant for automatic updates, while the public download pages focus on newer packages that remain available.

For Arc users, Intel’s historical driver page still lists version 32.0.101.6987 and newer releases, with 32.0.101.8331 currently shown as the latest package on that page. For 7th to 10th Gen processor graphics, the active download page currently lists 31.0.101.2141 as the latest release.
Do note that Intel has also purged the files from servers. We checked several drivers dating back to versions mentioned by Intel in the notice, and they are no longer available for download (server returns Access Denied). So in short, for now Intel is not abandoning any architecture mentioned, they have only removed older drivers.
