The D1 SSD Pro is one of the first M.2 SSD enclosures with an 80 Gbps Thunderbolt 5 interface that's completely fanless, and hence silent. The heft from the sheer mass of its extruded aluminium body offers sufficient cooling for high-performance Gen 4 M.2 SSDs, to saturate its high-bandwidth bus.
