AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 now set at £799 in the UK, down from OCUK’s earlier £829 estimate

AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 now has a confirmed UK SEP of £799, according to Overclockers UK forum staff member Gibbo. In a new post, he said the store will sell the chip at £799 and that orders open at 2 PM on Wednesday, April 22, with shipping planned the same day for Thursday delivery.
That is lower than the price OcUK had discussed earlier this month. Back on April 9, Gibbo said AMD had not yet communicated a UK MSRP, confirmed the official US MSRP at $899, and said OcUK had set its own price at £829 while expecting the final UK figure to land somewhere between £819 and £839.
The new £799 SEP puts the final UK price £30 below OcUK’s earlier £829 figure. It also means the retailer ended up below the range it had publicly estimated while waiting for AMD UK pricing guidance.

AMD lists the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition as a 16-core, 32-thread Zen 5 processor with up to 5.6 GHz boost, 192 MB of L3 cache and a 200W TDP. The company’s product page also lists global availability for the SKU.
For buyers in the UK, the update clears up the pricing question that had been hanging over this launch since early retailer listings appeared. The processor still carries AMD’s $899 official US MSRP, but OcUK’s latest post now gives a firm UK selling price and a clear launch-day shipping plan.
