AYN increases Thor Max 1TB pricing again, adds cheaper 16GB Max SKU

AYN has raised the price of its top Thor configuration again. The Thor Max with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage now costs $549, while a new 16GB and 512GB variant has been added at $469. AYN’s current store page now lists five Thor configurations in total.
The change comes just after AYN confirmed that new Thor and Odin 3 pre-orders will switch from UFS 4.0 to UFS 3.1 storage . The company said UFS 4.0 is no longer available at a sustainable level, and the live Thor product page now lists UFS 3.1 across every model, including the new 16GB/512GB Max and the 16GB/1TB Max.
Current Thor pricing now stands at $249 for the Lite model with Snapdragon 865 and 8GB/128GB, $319 for the Base with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 8GB/128GB, $399 for the Pro with 12GB/256GB, $469 for the new Max with 16GB/512GB, and $549 for the Max with 16GB/1TB. That means the top SKU now costs $100 more than the $449 level cited in earlier coverage, and $120 more than the original $429 first-batch pre-order price.
AYN Thor New pricing

So the flagship variant now ships with slower storage than earlier batches. AYN is keeping the Base and Pro pricing unchanged for now, but the 1TB Max is taking the full increase tied to higher UFS costs. The new 16GB/512GB version looks like AYN’s attempt to keep a lower-priced Max option in the lineup.
AYN has already opened Thor Batch 6 pre-orders. According to the company’s store page, Batch 6 orders are scheduled to start shipping in mid-June, and the shipping dashboard shows Thor orders were still being fulfilled through April 16.
