Ubisoft has confirmed a worldwide reveal showcase for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on April 23. Ubisoft’s teaser describes it as “the iconic solo pirate adventure returns.”

That makes this more of a formal unveiling than a surprise. Black Flag Resynced has been circulating through leaks and reports for months, and Ubisoft is now putting a date on the reveal. Ubisoft also says the original Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag had reached more than 34 million players, while the original game launched on October 29, 2013.

Ubisoft still has not shared feature details, platform information, or a release date. The company’s own wording points to a single-player focus, but that is still an inference from the teaser rather than a full feature breakdown. We should get the actual scope of the project once the showcase goes live on Wednesday.

Leak reports have already filled in part of that gap. According to reports, the game is set for July 9, 2026 and described it as a solo, character-driven experience rather than an RPG.

Ubisoft’s X post described the showcase as the world’s worst-kept secret, and we agree.
