AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition is now on sale

AMD describes the 9950X3D2 as its first desktop Ryzen processor with dual 3D V-Cache. Official specifications list 16 Zen 5 cores, 32 threads, a 4.3 GHz base clock, boost clocks up to 5.6 GHz, 192 MB of L3 cache, 16 MB of L2 cache, and a 200W default TDP. AMD also recommends liquid cooling for optimal performance.
The new model sits above the regular Ryzen 9 9950X3D in AMD’s AM5 desktop stack. AMD lists the standard 9950X3D with the same 16-core, 32-thread layout, but with a higher 5.7 GHz boost clock, 128 MB of L3 cache, and a 170W default TDP. The CPU did not leave good impressions on reviewers yesterday.
