John Ternus explains what he thinks of Apple Vision Pro

Last week, an interview with Apple SVPs John Ternus and Greg Joswiak. We covered many of the quotes here , but Apple’s incoming CEO Ternus also shared his thoughts on the Vision Pro.

As Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook has served as regular defender of the Vision Pro when questioned about its sales struggles.

At one point Cook told an interviewer that he used Vision Pro every single day in a variety of ways . But after Vision Pro’s first year on sale had nearly concluded, Cook called it an “early adopter product.”

But now that John Ternus is about to become CEO, some might wonder: what are his thoughts on Apple Vision Pro?

In Tom’s Guide’s interview , the incoming Apple CEO was asked about how he views Vision Pro and the spatial computing category overall.

Here’s what he said:

I think we’re still very much in the early innings of spatial computing. We are super excited about it. The Vision Pro is an extraordinary product. As Joz said, it’s like we reached into the future and pulled it into the present. And people are continuing to find exciting new use cases for it. There’s a lot of compelling stuff in enterprise, in medicine, in other things, and that’s going to continue to grow. It’s fun, we’re at the beginning of the journey.

There you have it: Apple’s new CEO sees a bright future ahead for Vision Pro and spatial computing overall.

That’s not exactly surprising, but it does reinforce that Apple is playing the long game with head-mounted wearables.
