Komodo Station lists new Steam Controller as Coming Soon

Valve’s new Steam Controller has appeared on Komodo Station, the official Steam hardware store for Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The listing was spotted by Gabe Follower and currently shows the controller as “Coming Soon.” Gabe also copied the videos of the Controller showcase before they were taken down.
The page does not include pricing or a firm release date. It uses the same short product text Valve has used for the controller, including “ Your games at your fingertips” and “All the inputs to play all the games on Steam, wherever Steam is.” The page links back to Steam for more details rather than opening orders.

Komodo’s main hardware page now lists Steam Controller alongside Steam Machine and Steam Frame. All three products are marked as “Coming Soon.” Komodo also states that these Steam Hardware products will be officially available through its store in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Still no release date
Valve announced the new Steam Controller in November 2025 as part of its next Steam Hardware lineup. The controller features the Steam Controller Puck, which works as a wireless transmitter and charging station.
This is another launch signal after earlier signs found in Steam’s backend and shipping data. As we previously covered a Steam Controller unboxing video appearing on SteamDB, followed by customs records suggesting a large controller shipment had already arrived. The Komodo listing does not confirm when sales will begin, but it suggests Valve’s regional retail setup is being prepared.
