Intel GPU roadmap reportedly moves from Xe3P to Xe4 without gaming cards, focus on data-centers

Intel’s next discrete gaming GPU plans may have changed again. According to leaker Jaykihn, Intel no longer has Xe3P “Celestial” gaming GPUs planned, while the next gaming-focused Arc generation remains unclear.

The claim says Xe3P will still appear in discrete products, but not as consumer gaming cards. Instead, Xe3P is reportedly reserved for Crescent Island and Crescent Island Workstation. Intel has already confirmed Crescent Island as a data-center GPU for AI inference, with Xe3P architecture, 160GB of LPDDR5X memory and customer sampling expected in the second half of 2026.

Celestial and Druid

The company originally promoted Alchemist, Battlemage, Celestial and Druid as future Arc generations. We previously covered Intel’s current naming problem, where Xe3, Xe3P, Arc B-Series and Arc C-Series are no longer aligned with the older public roadmap. Intel Fellow Tom Petersen also declined to confirm new Celestial or B770 products in an earlier interview.

Previous roadmaps

Jaykihn now claims “ Celestial was canned long ago ,” while “ Druid is up in the air. ” He also says Xe4 is still planned after Xe3P, but Intel’s architecture names are not tied cleanly to simple generation numbers. Xe4 could arrive in 2027 and may be used by Jaguar Shores , Intel’s next AI-focused rack-scale product.

Intel has not announced any Xe3P gaming GPU, Arc C-Series desktop card or Xe4 gaming product. Until Intel confirms a new consumer roadmap, Celestial and Druid should be treated as old Arc roadmap names rather than confirmed gaming GPU generations.
