New Game Pass Starter Edition leak points to limited Xbox Cloud Gaming access
More details have surfaced on Microsoft’s rumored Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition , a lower-tier subscription reportedly tied to Discord Nitro. Said new tier for Game Pass would be part of the Discord Nitro bundle with access to more than 50 Game Pass titles, 10 hours of Xbox Cloud Gaming per month and Xbox Rewards support. A new report Dealabs now claims the launch library includes 58 games.
The reported list overlaps with Game Pass Essential, but it may not be identical. According to the leak, DOOM 64 and Psychonauts (Windows 10) are part of Starter Edition despite not being listed for Essential subscribers.
The leaked catalog includes several Microsoft-owned franchises, such as Halo 5: Guardians, Halo Wars 2, Gears 5, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, DOOM Eternal, DOOM 64 and Fable Anniversary. Third-party titles reportedly include Hades, Dead Cells, Stardew Valley, Control, Batman: Arkham Knight, SnowRunner, PowerWash Simulator and Vampire Survivors.

The same report claims Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition should launch no later than mid-May 2026. Microsoft has not announced the tier yet, although Xbox CEO Asha Sharma recently confirmed that Xbox and Discord are working on a new Game Pass-related partnership and said users may see “code in the wild” before the official reveal.
