MSI lists budget MAG 275CQDF X24 dual-mode gaming monitor

MSI has listed the MAG 275CQDF X24 , a new 27-inch curved gaming monitor in the company’s MAG series. The display uses a Rapid VA panel with a 2560×1440 resolution and a 1500R curve.
The monitor supports two operating modes. The standard mode runs at WQHD resolution with up to 240 Hz refresh rat e. The dual mode lowers the resolution to 1280×720 and raises the refresh rate to 400 Hz. MSI says the monitor includes a one-click switch and a five-way joystick on the rear for changing settings.
The MAG 275CQDF X24 is rated for 300 cd/m² SDR brightness, 5000:1 contrast ratio and 0.5 ms gray-to-gray response time. MSI lists 96% DCI-P3, 96% Adobe RGB and 131% sRGB coverage, with 10-bit color support through 8-bit + FRC. The monitor is listed as HDR Ready, but it does not carry a VESA DisplayHDR tier.






Connectivity includes one DisplayPort 1.4a input, two HDMI 2.0b inputs and a headphone jack. The full 240 Hz WQHD and 400 Hz HD modes are only available over DisplayPort. HDMI is limited to 144 Hz at WQHD and 288 Hz at HD.

The monitor also supports Adaptive-Sync, PIP/PBP, HDMI CEC and console mode with 1440p at 60 Hz or 120 Hz with VRR. There is no KVM support. Stand adjustment is limited to tilt from -5° to 20°, but a 100×100 mm VESA mount is supported.
Czech retailer listings show the monitor at around 4,500 to 4,800 CZK, which is roughly €185 to €200 before regional pricing differences. MSI has not yet confirmed wider European pricing.
