Japan's Daiwa Securities Group to acquire Orix Bank for $2.3bn

TOKYO -- Daiwa Securities Group said on Monday that it will acquire Orix Bank for 370 billion yen ($2.3 billion), making the lender a wholly owned subsidiary through its internet banking arm.
