Samsung Odyssey G8 G80HS with 6K 165Hz and 3K 330Hz modes

Samsung has listed the Odyssey G8 G80HS in Europe, giving its 32-inch 6K gaming monitor a retail price and launch schedule. The monitor is listed as the S32HG806ES.
No OLED, but fast 6K
The G80HS is a flat IPS monitor with a native resolution of 6144×3456 . It supports 165Hz at full 6K resolution, while its Dual Mode lowers the resolution to 3072×1728 and raises the refresh rate to 330Hz . Samsung lists a 1ms GtG response time, 350 cd/m² typical brightness and a 1000:1 static contrast ratio.

This is the same Odyssey G8 model Samsung announced ahead of CES 2026. We already covered the monitor in December, when Samsung confirmed three Odyssey G8 variants: the 32-inch 6K G80HS, 27-inch 5K G80HF and 32-inch 4K QD-OLED G80SH. The G80HS is the highest-resolution model in that group, but it uses IPS rather than OLED.
Samsung’s product page confirms DisplayPort 2.1 , two HDMI ports and a USB 3.2 hub. The rear port layout includes two HDMI inputs, one DisplayPort input, USB-B upstream, two USB-A ports, a headphone jack and power input. There is no USB-C, no integrated speakers and no webcam.
The monitor supports HDR10 and HDR10+ Gaming. Samsung’s feature section mentions NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro . The stand supports tilt, height adjustment, swivel and pivot.
The Odyssey G8 G80HS is listed in Europe at €1,499 . The monitor is available for pre-order, with expected shipping from June 19 .
