ASRock PG27QFW2A combines 1440p IPS panel with 400Hz refresh rate

ASRock has launched the Phantom Gaming PG27QFW2A, a 27-inch gaming monitor with a QHD IPS panel and 400Hz refresh rate. The monitor uses a flat 2560×1440 display and is aimed at users who want a higher refresh rate without moving to a lower-resolution 1080p panel.

The company also introduced the PG32QFT , a larger 32-inch QHD monitor with a 180Hz refresh rate. Both models use IPS panels, support VESA DisplayHDR 400, and include ASRock’s integrated Wi-Fi antenna stand. ASRock says availability may vary by region.

The PG27QFW2A is the faster model in the pair. It has a 1ms GTG response time, AMD FreeSync Premium support, 99% DCI-P3 color coverage, and a 400-nit typical brightness rating. The monitor also includes HDMI 2.1 FRL, DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB 3.2 Gen1 hub.

The PG32QFT keeps the same 2560×1440 resolution but uses a larger 32-inch panel and lowers the refresh rate to 180Hz. ASRock lists 97% DCI-P3 coverage, 400-nit typical brightness, AMD FreeSync support, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and one DisplayPort 1.4 input. Unlike the 27-inch model, the PG32QFT does not list a USB hub.

Both monitors include tilt, swivel, and height adjustment. The Wi-Fi antenna stand is compatible with Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7. ASRock advertises up to 7dBi signal gain, which means the stand can replace the small antennas normally attached directly to a desktop motherboard or Wi-Fi card.
