We just talked to GALAX, in which they announced the closure of the company and also confirmed the dismissal of the entire global team.

Looking back at GALAX, the company was founded in 1994 in Hong Kong, China, as a computer hardware manufacturer. The company went on to become a global name, with its sister-brand KFA2 serving the EU markets, and GALAX serving several regions, including Asia-Pacific, South America, and North America.

GALAX had a major presence in Brazil, where enthusiasts such as the folks such as Ronaldo over at TecLab dedicated countless hours over the past 12 years to showing us their modding and engineering skills.

Over the years, we have seen, tested, and written about several GALAX graphics cards, a component in which they specialized.
