GALAX, known for its HOF series, moves under direct Palit control

I guess this is the begining of the end of another large GPU brand. GALAX is no longer operating under its previous structure. A notice shown to GALAX customers states that Palit has taken over control and operation of the GALAX brand, with all activities and commitments now handled through Palit’s official channels.
Palit customer letter says the change started on April 1, 2026. Palit says it decided to reorganize and consolidate its brands due to management efficiency and supply constraints for raw materials caused by the AI era. Which is kind of ironic given how GALAX promoted AI on their site. The letter also confirms that the Galaxy brand will be directly operated within Palit Group.

The notice currently shown on the GALAX Brazil website tells customers to contact Palit directly for support and service. It lists a Palit RMA email address and a Palit RMA link for Brazil. The notice also says both companies are authorized by NVIDIA, which should keep existing service obligations active under the new structure.

Ronaldo Buassali from TecLab, who was involved with GALAX operations in Brazil, said the local team received an official communication from Palit on April 23. According to Buassali, open cases had to be closed by April 27, after which access to email, Reclame Aqui and the GALAX Brazil website was revoked.

GALAX was one of the better-known NVIDIA board partners among enthusiasts, mainly due to its Hall of Fame graphics cards. The HOF series was often used for extreme overclocking, custom PCB designs, and limited high-end GeForce models. The brand also operated under KFA2 in some European markets.
KFA2 and GAINWARD
One thing I wanted to point out, nothing so far says directly that GALAX is effectively being killed as a brand, only that the structure changes. Perhaps that means exactly that; however, we can’t tell that clearly because we no longer have contact with the people involved. This also puts a big question on KFA2 and GAINWARD, who are also owned by the Palit Group.
The notice currently appears only on the GALAX Brazil website. It has not appeared on Galax.com or szgalaxy.com, the Chinese GALAX site. Once those pages start removing products or redirecting users to Palit, it would be fair to consider the GALAX brand effectively discontinued.
