PC Koubou starts selling GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition prebuilts in Japan

According to GDM, PC Koubou has started selling desktop PCs equipped with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition in Japan. The launch covers more than one product category. Unitcom lists compact gaming PCs, mid-tower gaming PCs, creator systems, NVIDIA Studio certified PCs, AI development workstations and assembly kits using the RTX 5090 Founders Edition.
The company says the compact systems use the Founders Edition card to reduce the space required by the PC. NVIDIA’s own RTX 5090 Founders Edition remains the only RTX 5090 listed as SFF-Ready, which makes this configuration different from most custom RTX 5090 cards. As covered earlier, the RTX 5090 FE is also one of the few ways to get a dual-slot RTX 5090.

Pricing starts at 728,800 yen, around $4,540 , for RTX 5090 Founders Edition-equipped PCs. Assembly kits (pictued above) start at 899,720 yen, around $5,600 . One listed kit includes the RTX 5090 Founders Edition, Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, ASUS TUF GAMING B860M-PLUS motherboard, 32GB of DDR5 memory, a 1TB WD Black SN7100 SSD and Windows 11 Home.
This does not appear to be the only system integrator route for RTX 5090 Founders Edition PCs. In the UK, Scan and PCSpecialist also list systems with RTX 5090 FE graphics. Still, they are quite rare and limited to the latest distributors and retailers.
