ASRock X870E Taichi White launches, confirming our earlier leak
ASRock has officially launched the X870E Taichi White motherboard, confirming the model we leaked earlier this month . The company describes it as the first pure-white motherboard in its Taichi series.
The X870E Taichi White is an AM5 motherboard based on AMD’s X870E chipset. ASRock is positioning the board as a companion product for the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition processor, which has already appeared in several motherboard vendor updates.
The board uses a 24+2+1 phase power design with 110A SPS stages. It also includes two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, which ASRock says can be used for high-performance expansion and multi-GPU configurations.
On the hardware side, the X870E Taichi White features a robust 24+2+1 phase, 110A SPS power design and comes equipped with dual PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, supporting high-performance expansion and multi-GPU applications. For connectivity, it offers 10GbE LAN, 802.11be Wi-Fi 7, and dual USB4 Type-C 40Gbps ports, delivering ultra-fast and low-latency data transmission. It also includes a 64MB BIOS ROM, providing support for future AM5 processor upgrades and ensuring long-term compatibility and platform flexibility.
Connectivity includes 10GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 7 and two USB4 Type-C ports rated for 40Gbps. ASRock also lists a 64MB BIOS ROM, which the company says is intended to support future AM5 processor updates.
ASRock has not confirmed pricing or retail availability in the announcement. The company has published the product page and promotional material, so board partners and retailers should follow with local listings.
