MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ gets Panther Lake Arc G3 Extreme
MSI’s next Intel-based gaming handheld has appeared in an Italian retailer listing. The store lists the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ CG3EM-013IT in Void Purple with Intel Arc G3 Extreme, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD.
The listing shows an 8-inch 16:10 FHD+ touchscreen with a 1920×1200 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It also lists 100% sRGB coverage, 500 nits typical brightness, Wi-Fi 7 and an 80Wh battery.
Ollo Store has the handheld listed at €1,599, but it is currently marked as unavailable. This is the first handheld known to feature the Panther Lake custom chip known as Arc G3 series – the G3 Extreme version specifically.

Price looks realistic
Ollo Store has the handheld listed at €1,599, but it is currently marked as unavailable. This is the first handheld known to feature Intel’s custom Panther Lake chip for gaming handhelds, listed under the Arc G3 series, more specifically the Arc G3 Extreme version. The system is said to feature 32GB memory, which based on our leak should be LPDDR5X-8533 based.
As we exclusively revealed, MSI is planning to announce the new handheld at Computex , which is now barely a month away. However, we are surprised that the first retailer already has the system listed with pricing. The price does not look impossible, given the recent Legion Go 2 price hikes.
First G3 test already here
The system is also already listed on PassMark with confirmed specifications for the G3. For our readers, there is no surprise that it has 14 cores, because we leaked that in January. The CPU is split between 2 performance cores and 12 efficient cores, with 12MB of L3 cache. The current score is 29,622 CPU Mark and 4,288 single-thread , but this is based on one sample, and PassMark marks the margin of error as high.

MSI has not announced the Claw 8 EX AI+ yet. The existing Claw 8 AI+ uses the Core Ultra 7 258V with Arc 140V graphics. The Void Purple colo r also lines up with MSI’s earlier Claw 8 AI+ color showcase, pictured below.
