ASUS will keep only selected RTX 5070 Ti models in focus, while pushing RTX 5080 sales in Q2, it’s claimed

ASUS is reportedly adjusting its Q2 graphics card sales plan for high-end GeForce RTX 50 series models. A Board Channel report says the supply of some ASUS cards may tighten due to upstream GPU supply changes, with distributors being told to adjust their sales focus.
The report says shipments of RTX 5070Ti, which, as we remember was rumored to be cancelled and then suddenly not, will continue to decrease, with ASUS focusing on some mainstream models. Related production capacity is said to be moving toward the GeForce RTX 5080.

ASUS apparently wants the GeForce RTX 5080 series to keep its current market share. Although it’s a new report, it basically says the same thing we have been hearing from our own sources for months. NVIDIA has deprioritized RTX 5070Ti in January in favor of RTX 5080 because both cards feature the same memory spec.
The report also mentions a possible RTX 5080 Master EVO version, although ASUS has not announced such a card publicly. Sounds kind of like Gigabyte card if you ask me.
