Lenovo Legion Go 2 drops to $1,199 in official US store

Lenovo has reduced the price of the Legion Go 2 in its official US store. The 16GB memory and 1TB storage configuration is now listed at $1199, down from the current $1,599.99 store price.
This is a $400 discount, or 25% below the listed price. Some EDU and work-affiliate accounts can reportedly bring the same configuration down to $1,071.99, which is below the original $1,099.99 launch price for this SKU.
The discounted model uses the non-Extreme AMD Ryzen Z2 processor. This APU features 8 Zen 4 cores, 16 threads, Radeon graphics based on RDNA 3, 12 graphics cores, and a configurable 15W to 30W TDP range.
Lenovo pairs this configuration with 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB SSD. The handheld also has an 8.8-inch OLED display with a 1920×1200 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, plus a 74Wh battery, microSD support, and two USB4 Type-C ports.
While Legion Go 2 has a Zen4/RDNA3 combo, you can save a lot of money by choosing Steam Deck-level performance with ASUS Xbox Ally. The Z2A chip has Zen2 and RDNA2 architectures on board.
