007 First Light requires 16GB RAM for native 4K 60 FPS

IO Interactive has shared updated PC requirements for 007 First Light, adding targets for 1440p, native 4K and 4K Ultra. The game is still scheduled to launch on May 27, 2026.

The new requirements cover native rendering targets up to 4K 60 FPS. IO Interactive lists the GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XTX for 4K 60 FPS at High settings, with 16GB of RAM and 16GB of VRAM. DLSS is not used for the Minimum, Recommended or Enthusiast presets.

For 1080p 60 FPS at Medium settings, the developer lists a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or Radeon RX 6700 XT. The 1440p 60 FPS High preset requires a GeForce RTX 4070 or Radeon RX 7800 XT. Both use the same Core i5-13500 or Ryzen 5 7600 CPU requirement and 16GB of RAM.

The Ultra preset is different. It targets 4K at over 200 FPS with DLSS 4.5 enabled. That mode lists a GeForce RTX 5080, Core i5-13600K or Ryzen 7 7700X, 32GB of RAM and 16GB of VRAM.

Path Tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction will not be available at launch. IO Interactive says both features are planned for a free update in summer 2026. The game will support uncapped frame rates at launch, along with DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.

We covered the earlier 007 First Light PC specs update in January, when IO Interactive revised the requirements after an older-version mix-up. That earlier update reduced the RAM requirement for the recommended preset from 32GB to 16GB and corrected VRAM values.
