Steam Client update adds Grip Sensor settings for the new Steam Controller

Valve has released a new Steam Client update with fixes for the new Steam Controller. The patch addresses hardware input, firmware, and software integration issues reported after launch.
The update includes a firmware fix for the controller’s left trackpad. Valve says the left side of the trackpad could fail to register touch input when the controller was connected wirelessly.
Valve also fixed an issue affecting the controller when docked to its charging puck. The company did not list the exact behavior, but the fix is related to compatibility when the controller is connected through the dock.
The Steam Client update also resolves a bug where configuration selections for the new Steam Controller were not saved correctly. Another fix removes streamable games from the Ready to Play list when users disable the option to show them. Valve also fixed occasional cursor corruption while streaming on Windows.
The update adds new Grip Sensor settings in the Steam Client. Users can find them under Settings, Controller, Details, Calibration & Advanced Settings, and Grip Sensors. Valve also added a separate setting for enabling or disabling controller battery notifications.
