Gigabyte launches full gaming PCs in Japan with its own motherboard, GPU, PSU and case

Gigabyte is now selling complete gaming desktops in Japan. The company has launched two prebuilt systems called GIGABYTE OWL GI-R57XR9K6T8G and GIGABYTE SWAN GI-R57XN5K6T8G.
Both models are listed as Yodobashi Camera exclusive systems. The launch appears limited to Japan for now, as Gigabyte only links to retailer called Yodobashi and no US or EU product pages were found under the same model names. Well, at least we didn’t find any.

Gigabyte is using these systems to sell a full desktop under its own brand, with several Gigabyte components inside. Both PCs use the B550M DS3H AC R2 motherboard, GP-UD850GM PG5 V2 850W 80 PLUS Gold power supply and C301 GLASS WHITE mid-tower case. So clearly this is not meant to be a very high-end system, on the contrary, we are looking at budget segment.

Both systems are based on the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X , an 8-core and 16-thread AM4 processor with a 3.4 GHz base clock and up to 4.6 GHz boost. Gigabyte lists DDR4-3200 16GB memory, a 500GB PCIe 4.0 M.2 NVMe SSD, Windows 11 Home, 1GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.
The OWL model uses a Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT GAMING 8G graphics card and is priced at around $1,590. The SWAN model uses a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 8GB card and is priced at around $1,750. Keep in mind that prices in Japan tend to be on the higher-side, so you are very likely to find cheaper, similar, or even better spec’ed systems elsewhere around the globe.
