PowerColor Hellhound RX 9070 becomes cheapest US listing

PowerColor’s Radeon RX 9070 Hellhound is listed at $554.03 on Amazon, down from the original $719.99 listing (this was the price until May 4 and has been going down ever since). Curent price puts the card only $5 above AMD’s original $549 MSRP for the non-XT Radeon RX 9070.
According to PCPartPicker, this is currently the cheapest Radeon RX 9070 offer in the US market. The listing applies to the PowerColor Hellhound model with 16GB of GDDR6 memory, while other RX 9070 listings remain above this price.
We have not seen many Radeon RX 9070 deals in a long time. The non-XT model had a few earlier price cuts, including the ASRock Challenger RX 9070 at $509.99 through Newegg in December, but these offers were rare and usually short-lived.
The new PowerColor deal is not the lowest RX 9070 price we have tracked, but it is one of the closest recent offers to AMD’s launch MSRP. For buyers waiting for non-XT RDNA4 pricing to normalize, this is one of the first US listings in months to move back near the $549 target.
