Palit launches GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 with all-black triple-fan cooler

Palit RTX 5080 Infinity 3 series listed with 331.9mm card length

Palit has announced the GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 series, a new custom RTX 5080 lineup with an all-black triple-fan cooler. The series includes two models, the GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 OC and the standard GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3.

The OC model has a boost clock of 2625 MHz, while the non-OC model is listed at 2617 MHz. Both cards use the same RTX 5080 GPU configuration with 16GB of GDDR7 memory, a 256-bit memory bus and 30 Gbps memory speed.

The cooler uses Palit’s TurboFan 4.0 design and composite heat pipes. Palit claims TurboFan 4.0 improves noise and thermal optimization by 33%, while the composite heat pipe design improves heat transfer efficiency by up to 32%, based on internal testing.

The cards are equipped with one HDMI 2.1b connector, three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and one 16-pin power connector. The bus interface is PCI Express 5.0 x16. The card measures 331.9 × 127.1 × 56.8 mm, which makes it a 2.8-slot design.

The launch also follows Palit and GALAX statements addressing recent confusion around the GALAX, KFA2 and HOF brands. Palit said those brands are now managed directly by Palit Group and will continue under the same GPU roadmap. The company also said it is “ fully prepared for the current generation of GPUs ” and is already working on future generations, which means the Infinity 3 launch should be viewed as part of Palit’s current RTX 50 lineup rather than a change to its broader brand strategy. Interesting, though is that they didn’t launch the new GALAX GPU yet.
