Origin Code adds 48GB DDR5-6200 CL28 kit to Vortex memory lineup
More details at Computex 2026.

Origin Code is adding a new 48GB DDR5 memory kit to its Vortex lineup at Computex 2026. The new kit uses two 24GB modules and is rated for DDR5-6200 with CL28 timings.
The company says the kit will use an AMD EXPO profile and will ship in the Meteorite Black finish. Origin Code is targeting high-end desktops used for gaming, content creation, AI-assisted workloads and multitasking. Compatibility will depend on motherboard QVL support.

This is not the first Vortex DDR5 kit from Origin Code. Last year company announced an entry into the DDR5 memory market with Vortex modules using an active triple-fan cooling design and capacities up to 256GB. A later report also covered the removable triple-fan cooler for the same memory series.
For Computex, Origin Code is also introducing a dedicated water block for Vortex DDR5 modules. T he block is designed for custom liquid cooling loops and uses a 2-inlet, 1-outlet flow layout with standard G1/4 threads. Origin Code claims up to 50% higher heat dissipation efficiency compared to its baseline cooling setup.

The water block also includes a 178-degree wide-view LCD screen with a 222×480 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. Through dedicated software, users will be able to show system data such as temperatures and clock speeds. The module is designed only for Vortex DDR5 memory.
Origin Code notes that the water block must be connected to a full liquid cooling loop to provide active cooling. If installed without liquid cooling, it functions only as a display module and does not improve memory thermals.

The Vortex DDR5 lineup now includes:
- 32 GB (16 GB × 2) 6200 MT/s CL26
- 48 GB (24 GB × 2) 6000 MT/s CL26 (Dual EXPO Profiles P2: 8000 MT/s CL36)
- 48 GB (24 GB × 2) 6200 MT/s CL28
- 96 GB (48 GB x 2) 6000 MT/s CL26 (Dual EXPO Profiles P2: 8000 MT/s CL36 1DPC)
- 192 GB (48 GB × 4) 6000 MT/s CL26
- 256 GB (64 GB × 4) 6000 MT/s CL30
Origin Code will show the new modules at Computex 2026 from June 2 to June 5 at booth R0102, 4F, Hall 2, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
