Scuf Omega PS5 performance controller launches at $219.99 with 11 extra inputs and PC support

Scuf Omega launches for PS5 and PC with 28 inputs and TMR thumbsticks

Scuf Gaming has launched the Scuf Omega, a new officially licensed controller for PlayStation 5 consoles. The controller is also compatible with PC, Mac, iOS and Android.

Omega is aimed at competitive players and includes 28 inputs in total. Scuf says 11 of those are extra customizable inputs, including four rear paddles, two side buttons and five G-Keys. The inputs can be remapped directly on the controller or through the Scuf Mobile App.

The app is available on iOS and Android. It can store profiles on the controller, adjust trigger and thumbstick response curves, set 0% deadzones, change thumbstick response zones and configure SOCD settings for fighting games. It also handles firmware updates, battery status, audio controls and thumbstick recalibration.

Scuf Omega uses Omron mechanical switches for its Instant Triggers, D-Pad and action buttons. The Instant Triggers can be switched between a click mode and a full analog range. The controller also uses Endurance TMR Thumbsticks, which rely on non-contact magnetic sensing. Scuf will offer concave and domed sticks in short and tall heights.

Scuf says the controller removes vibration modules to reduce weight and avoid feedback during aiming adjustments. The design also includes a non-slip grip texture and an RGB lighting strip, although RGB customization is listed for PC only.

Scuf Omega launches today, May 12, 2026. The recommended price is $219.99 in the US, €239.99 in Europe, £209.99 in the UK and 37,980 yen in Japan. Availability may vary by region.
