Lenovo ThinkStation P4 supports Ryzen 9 PRO 9965X3D and up to 256GB DDR5
Lenovo has announced the ThinkStation P4, a 30-liter desktop workstation based on AMD Ryzen PRO 9000 processors and NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation graphics. The system will be available in select markets worldwide starting in June 2026. Lenovo has not announced pricing yet.
The company says this is the first workstation to combine AMD Ryzen PRO 9000 Series processors with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition GPUs. Select configurations will also offer AMD 3D V-Cache, which Lenovo describes as the first use of this technology in the professional workstation segment.
The top CPU option is listed as AMD Ryzen 9 PRO 9965X3D with up to 16 cores and up to 5.5 GHz boost clock. This is AMD’s workstation-focused Ryzen PRO version of its 16-core X3D desktop class CPU, but Lenovo is positioning it for professional workloads such as CAD, BIM, simulation, rendering, software development and media production.

Graphics options go up to NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition or RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q Workstation Edition. Lenovo lists 96GB of GDDR7 ECC memory and up to 4000 TOPS of GPU AI performance. There’s no Radeon AI PRO option, I wonder why?
The ThinkStation P4 supports up to 256GB of DDR5 memory across four DIMM slots, with speeds listed up to 6400 MT/s depending on configuration. Storage support includes up to six total drives, with up to three M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs and up to three 3.5-inch SATA hard drives. Lenovo also lists PCIe Gen5 support, four expansion slots, 500W, 750W and 1100W power supply options, plus Windows 11 Pro, Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux support.

Lenovo says the system will be available starting from June, no price information yet.
