NVIDIA’s new 007 First Light giveaway uses RTX 5080 instead of RTX 5090

NVIDIA already gave away an RTX 5090 with a 007 First Light wrap in January, but times are tough even for the largest company in the world. The new campaign uses the cheaper RTX 5080 Founders Edition instead.

NVIDIA has launched a new 007 First Light GeForce Sweepstakes tied to the upcoming James Bond game. The company is asking users to follow its social channels and reply to campaign prompts, including “#007FirstLightRTX”, for a chance to win themed prizes.

The main prizes now include GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition graphics cards with a custom 007 First Light wrap and a PC game code. NVIDIA lists the RTX 5080 Founders Edition prize at $999, the custom wrap at $600, and the game code at $69.99. There are separate prize pools for social media entries and Reddit entries.

This is not the first 007 First Light GPU giveaway from NVIDIA. In January, the company ran a similar promotion with a GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition and the same $600 custom wrap. That earlier GPU prize had an ARV of $1,999, so the new campaign uses a card with half the listed GPU value.

The sweepstakes runs from May 13, 2026 at 6:00 AM PST to May 27, 2026 at 5:00 PM PST. NVIDIA lists up to five winners. Social media entries can win one of two RTX 5080 FE cards with the custom wrap and game code, or a 007 First Light Legacy Edition PC copy. Reddit entries have a separate pool with one RTX 5080 FE custom wrap bundle and one Legacy Edition copy.

The eligibility list covers selected regions only. NVIDIA lists Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, the UK and the US, among others.
