Intel Razor Lake-AX large APU rumor now points to 32 Xe3 cores
Jaykihn says Intel’s large APU design uses two iGPU configurations, both smaller than cancelled 48-core Nova Lake-AX.

Intel’s rumored Razor Lake-AX processor has received a new graphics update. According to Jaykihn, the large APU design uses two integrated GPU configurations. These are said to feature 16 or 32 Xe3 cores.
The claim was shared after a question about a possible 24-core Xe3P configuration. Jaykihn replied that Razor Lake-AX is “16 and 32.” Earlier comments from the same leaker said AX uses a large iGPU, but neither configuration is as large as the 48 Xe setup once linked with Nova Lake-AX .

Intel’s big “APU”
The 16-core variant would sit above Panther Lake, which is currently linked with up to 12 Xe3 cores. The 32-core variant would double that and move Intel closer to a product class built around large integrated graphics.
Razor Lake-AX is not expected to be a standard desktop socketed product. Earlier rumors pointed to BGA4326 packaging and on-package memory, with ys already covering both the larger package and the reported return of on-package memory after Lunar Lake.
Intel Razor Lake has no release date yet, but it would be fair to expect it no sooner than late 2027. By that time AMD should unveil its next-gen Medusa Halo, and we should already hear about the new Apple M-Series by that time. Hopefully it’s not too late for Intel.
