ASUS ROG first DDR5 memory kit costs 5999 yuan in China
ASUS ROG is entering the desktop memory market with its own ROG-branded DDR5 kit.
The company showed the ROG DDR5 RGB Edition 20 memory at ROG DAY 2026 in China. The kit is a 20th anniversary design with black, gold and red styling. It was developed with BIWIN , which is already listed as one of ASUS’ ROG Certified memory partners.
The first kit uses a 2×24GB configuration for 48GB capacity. ASUS lists DDR5-6000 speed and CL26-36-36-76 timings. The modules use SK hynix M-die ICs and support a lifetime warranty.

The memory also supports both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles. ASUS also shows a dedicated “ROG Mode” for ROG users, as well as Aura Sync lighting support.
ASUS announces ROG Certified memory program
At the same event, ASUS has also introduced the ROG Certified Memory Program. ASUS now lists 14 DRAM partners under that program, including ADATA, Apacer, ASGARD, BIWIN, Corsair, G.SKILL, GeIL, Kingston, KLEVV, Lexar, Silicon Power, TeamGroup, V-Color and Viper Gaming.

The launch price for ROG DDR5 RGB Edition 20 in China is 5999 yuan, which is around $880 or €755 by direct conversion before taxes. Sales are expected to begin in late June. ASUS has not yet confirmed a global launch.
