AYANEO says NEXT 2 shipping target remains June
AYANEO says NEXT 2 shipping remains on track for June. The company has posted a new production update for backers of its Ryzen AI Max-based Windows handheld, confirming that key components are now entering production.
According to AYANEO, suppliers have started manufacturing the motherboard, display, battery and other core parts. These components have longer production cycles and are expected to begin arriving in early June. AYANEO says it has not received any abnormal delay notices from suppliers so far.

The company expects trial production to begin in early June. Mass production is still planned for around mid-June, after extra time reserved for production adjustments and possible unexpected issues. Based on the current schedule, AYANEO says June shipments remain achievable.
AYANEO is also asking backers not to change or upgrade their orders at this stage. The company says production planning and material allocation have already been arranged, and late order changes could affect manufacturing efficiency or delay the schedule.
You can’t order it anymore, but you can still ask
New orders remain unavailable. AYANEO stopped selling NEXT 2 on March 23 after rising memory and storage costs made additional production difficult to guarantee. The company says interested buyers can contact customer service to register a preferred configuration and color, but it cannot promise more NEXT 2 units beyond the current production plan.
The NEXT 2 as AYANEO’s flagship Strix Halo handheld with up to Ryzen AI Max+ 395, Radeon 8060S graphics, a 9.06-inch OLED display and a 116Wh battery. The handheld was later pulled from sale due to higher component costs, with AYANEO saying existing backer orders would still be fulfilled.
