Razer Blade 18 updated with Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and $3999 starting price
Razer has updated its Blade 18 laptop with Intel’s Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor. The new 18-inch system is now listed on Razer’s website with GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 Laptop GPU options.
The 2026 Blade 18 starts at $3999.99 with the RTX 5070 Ti configuration. That is $500 more than the comparable 2025 model after its previous price increase. The top configuration with GeForce RTX 5090, 128GB of DDR5-6400 memory and a 2TB SSD is listed at $6999.99.

The main change is the CPU. Razer has moved from the Core Ultra 9 275HX to the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus , which is part of Intel’s Arrow Lake Refresh mobile lineup. Razer lists the chip with 24 cores, 24 threads, a 5.5 GHz maximum turbo clock and a 13 TOPS NPU.
The display remains an 18-inch dual-mode IPS panel. It can run at 3840×2400 with a 240Hz refresh rate or 1920×1200 at 440Hz. Razer now lists the panel at 600 nits, up from 500 nits on the previous version.
The GPU options are unchanged from last year. Razer lists the RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB VRAM, RTX 5080 with 16GB VRAM and RTX 5090 with 24GB VRAM. The company also lists up to 175W TGP for the GPU configuration.

The price increase is not limited to Blade 18. The Blade 16 with RTX 5080 has moved from $3499.99 to $3999.99, while the RTX 5090 version has moved from $4499.99 to $4899.99.
